When mounting IEC320 C15 female connector into an IEC320 C14 male inlet the C15 Secure Insert over-mold will make the connection stronger. |

To properly install the Secure Insert slide over female connector housing and press firmly onto connector. Fully insert cord to avoid arcing between conductors. Typically, 9 lbs of force pull are required to extract a C15 connector. With C15 Secure Sleeve Tab the average is 30 lbs of force pull to extract a C15 connector. Repeated insertions and extractions may deteriorate the force pounds required to extract a C15 Connector. |
